“Without suffering there is no struggle, without struggle no victory, without victory no crown.” ~ Jan Swafford, Beethoven: Anguish and TriumphOur thoughts and emotional states are crucial components of our health.
It is well documented that stressful events are a leading trigger for heart attacks. There is a direct correlation between our mental health and physical wellbeing.

How do you make a muscle stronger? Why is scar tissue normally tougher than the tissue it repairs?
Stress is a double-edged sword.
When not harnessed and controlled stress becomes distress which is negative and harmful.
With effort, rational thought and mental strength stress can become eustress which is positive and builds strength and resilience.
It takes stress and uses it positively to build muscle, scar tissue and confidence.
Eustress occurs when you step out of your comfort zone, you might experience anxiety, nervousness and maybe a little fear – but you do it anyway.
Thinking Well is a matter of perspective – choose your perspective wisely.
